Friday, June 26, 2020

Village Folks:

So, the Mid-Hudson Region is in Phase 3, which basically means we can eat at our favorite restaurants indoors again! Phase 3 also includes personal care businesses and services, such as cosmetology, massage therapy and spas.

More good news: The Storm King Art Center will open on Wednesday, July 15 (845-534-3115).

Independence Day is Saturday, July 4. Due to COVID-19, the Cornwall Independence Day Committee has been planning a modified celebration. One of the latest additions to the celebration is a contest for Patriotically Decorated Homes. Check the committee’s website (www.cornwall4th.org) for details.

Village Hall doors will re-open Monday, July 6. Access will be limited. The village is required to have safety plans for all its departments. The drop-box will continue to provide a convenient way to pay bills. You can contact us at 845-534-4200 and [email protected]. Our website is www.cornwall-on-hudson.org.

Congratulations to all the Cornwall high school graduates! And best of luck to all the students moving up to high school and middle school.

The Centers for Disease Control Social continue to encourage social distancing and a wearing a mask when you can’t social distance.

Stay healthy! Enjoy your weekend.
