P.O. Robert "Jump" D'Egidio, Village of Cornwall on Hudson P.D.: April 12, 1991. While on routine patrol, Bobby was requested by the Town of Cornwall P.D. to assist with attempting to stop a motor vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently stopped on Rte 9W and Bobby, while running up to the vehicle, suffered a fatal heart attack. |

Machuca, Town of Cornwall P.D.: February 10, 1989. While performing routine patrol,
John was called to assist the Town of Woodbury P.D. who was attempting to stop a motor
vehicle. The fleeing vehicle entered the Town of Cornwall and at the intersection of
Angola Rd and Rte 9W, struck P.O. Machuca's vehicle, killing him. |
